Discussion Agenda

Item 1. Action Item: 2019 Budget Approval

Motion: Matt   Second: Jay Approved Unanimously

Item 2. Action Item: Trails Coordinator Increase to Full Time (Kevin)

Discussion around the relatively quick move from part to full time for the position. 35-45% of Trails Coordinator time (per Ben) comes from restricted grant funds.

At some point (2019?) Ben won’t be able to do all required for the projects we have going. Ben knows what he needs to do and had clear metrics when he was working part-time. Metrics will need to be updated for full time. Al stated that current time card shows clearly what he’s worked on by the hour.

Revise the job description for moving from part to full time.  62k+

Motion: Kevin  Second: Don Unanimously approved

Item 3.  Action Item: Approve budget for Black Mountain Trail Project -  Pavers $5,663/Motorized wheelbarrow $7000/Tool Storage box $452 (see item #4 below) The money is already in the budget.             Black Widow Budget Matt

Discussion: Pavers will be placed in a several strategic corners of turns to prevent erosion. Maintenance will be minimal.

Motion to approve the budget as is $18,225 Kevin Second: Al  Unanimously Approved

Item 10. Membership Social Media Report/Recommendations Historical Membership Numbers(Ben & Susie)

Action Item? Not necessary. We already approved $500 a while back...

Ben - We recommend to focus on a 2-prong approach acquire more likes on FB through evergreen ads like “where are you riding this weekend?”

And - Run ads and promos to those who like our fb page with the goal of converting them to memberships.

This is a basic plan, easy for staff.

Last month Top Rope Media presented to us re: paying for advertising. The above social media plan is our trial run at determining what results we can get

Item 11.  SD River Trail update (Draft) (Ben)

Ben had approximately 15 total volunteers over the time period.

This was a great experience with trail building with a mini excavator.
