  • Trail work: The majority of our trail work volunteer opportunities occur between October and April when temperatures are cooler and soil conditions are optimal.

  • Trail Work Opportunities with our Land Managers/Partners (Subject to change): 
    • Mission Trails Regional Park 
      • Third Sunday of the month and Monday/Wednesdays
        Work with Ranger Dan Kimpel with trail maintenance, construction and erosion control projects on the third Sunday of each month. For more information and to RSVP, please send email to dkimpel@sandiego.gov or call 619-668-2710
    • San Dieguito River Park "Dust Devils Trail Maintenance"
  • Tuesdays and Fridays and occasional Sundays

Location varies monthly – check the Events Calendar for this month’s location

  • Work with rangers to improve the trails and restore native habitats from 9 a.m. to noon near Lake Hodges. Meet at the Coast to Crest Trail at Sante Fe Valley and Del Dios Gorge Parking Lot, 8173 Del Dios Road, San Diego

        We'll provide tools, training and work gloves. Please bring drinking water, sun protection and wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes.
